Audition Information

We are looking forward to another great season of music making with the Wichita Symphony Youth Orchestras (WSYO) in 2024-2025! If you are interested in becoming a member of WSYO, please read through the information below for more details about the program before completing the application. All students must audition for membership, and audition materials can be found in the links below. Contact the Youth Orchestras Coordinator at youthorch@wso.org if you have questions.

General Audition Schedule

Thursday, May 2: Violins, Cellos, Basses, Woodwinds

Friday, May 3: Violins, Cellos, Brass

Saturday, May 4: Violins, Violas, Percussion

Audition Packets

These packets are for auditions for the Youth Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Repertory Orchestra, and Youth Chamber Players.

Youth Concert Band auditions will ask for 10 - 15 measures of a solo of your choice.
