Botanica, The Wichita Gardens

Join the Wichita Symphony and Botanica for Symphony in the Gardens: American Landscapes. Wander through the breathtaking grounds of Botanica for a lively garden party filled with food, drinks, and music, where ensembles of WSO musicians perform spirited melodies that capture the heart of the American spirit in honor of America 250.

Your journey through the gardens leads to the Dr. David & Mickie Brown Lawn & Stage for a stirring patriotic finale featuring the Wichita Symphony, conducted by Music Director Daniel Hege. As twilight falls, the orchestra will celebrate our national landscape with a program including John Williams’ "Liberty Fanfare," Copland’s "Hoedown," and familiar favorites by Sousa, Irving Berlin, and Beethoven, all culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over the gardens.
