Our program offers tuition waivers for all students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. If this does not apply to your family but you still demonstrate financial need, tuition assistance applications are available for all students. Families with more than one student enrolled in our program, or students participating in more than one ensemble, may also be eligible for discounts.
Please contact Alyssa at youthorch@wso.org to receive a discount code before registering.
If you plan to apply for tuition assistance, a tuition waiver, or a discount, please do not register until your aid has been awarded. Registering before your application has been processed will forfeit your eligibility for our financial assistance programs.

Do not submit this form if you are requesting an absence from a dress rehearsal or if you've exceeded your two allowable absences for the semester. Instead, email youthorch@wso.org with information regarding your absence.

Youth Concert Band Schedule is not yet available. Their rehearsals will start in March of 2027.
The WSYO Usher Program has been established to provide a meaningful educational and musical experience for WSYO members, while providing a needed service at Wichita Symphony performances.
All WSYO members in grades nine through twelve are required to usher for at least one Wichita Symphony concert each semester. Ushering is open to students in grades seven and above. Each WSYO student usher may receive up to two complimentary tickets (one for themselves and one for a guest) for the WSO concert for which they usher, subject to availability. Student Ushers can claim tickets and will receive additional information in an email the Monday preceding the concert weekend for which they are signed up to usher by the Patron Services Manager.
