Experience the glory of Mozart’s “Coronation Mass” in the stunning acoustics of First United Methodist Church, as the Wichita Symphony Chorus joins forces with Wichita State University Choirs and other guest choirs for a stirring evening of masses for the masses.
Interwoven with Mozart’s brilliant setting of the Ordinary of the Mass, this program offers a rich tapestry of sacred music through the ages, featuring diverse and expressive settings of the Propers by composers from across music history. From the intimate to the exalted, this concert celebrates the enduring power of choral music in a setting as inspiring as the repertoire itself.
