featuring Stewart Goodyear, piano

Dive into a vibrant soundscape with Quinn Mason's "Inspiration! A Festive Overture," a piece that is dedicated to the power of inspiration and brimming with energy and enthusiasm. This dynamic opener will set the stage for an evening of musical wonder.

The splendor and genius of Rachmaninoff and his Third Piano Concerto lie in both the delicate, whimsical moments and the power of the piano, which will have the audience leaping to their feet at its triumphant finale. Stewart Goodyear returns to Wichita for this spellbinding piano concerto.

Mozart was a master of drama, evident in the rich tapestry of Symphony No. 40 in G minor. This symphony is filled with tragedy and angst, and with haunting opening bars and an explosive conclusion, you'll feel the intensity conjured by one of classical music's greatest minds.

Immerse yourself in a concert experience that transcends time in celebration of 80 years of the Wichita Symphony!
