The following fees apply when you order tickets:

Refund Policy

All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. No exceptions.

Can't Use Your Ticket?

If you can’t attend a concert and you’re unable to find a friend who will gratefully use your ticket(s), you may donate your ticket(s) back to the Symphony no later than 5pm on Friday of the concert weekend. We will issue a tax-deductible donation receipt for your donation, and you will save us the cost of sales tax for what is now a donation. We’ll make every effort to re-sell your unused ticket. Please give us as much notice as possible.

Please note: we are unable to accept unused tickets as donations after the concert has begun, or the following week. Every year someone tries to do this, but the answer is simply “no.”

No problem. We’ll reprint one for you at no charge.

Exchange Policy

We understand that last-minute things come up, or a business trip gets scheduled out of town. So here’s our exchange policy, some of which is new for the 2015 – 2016 season:

If you are exchanging a Saturday for a Sunday, or vice versa, of the same Classics concert on the same weekend, there is no exchange fee charged. We will seat you as close to your original seat as possible.

But, if you wish to exchange for another concert on a different weekend, a $2 exchange fee per ticket will be charged. If you are exchanging into a concert with higher ticket prices, you will be expected to pay the additional cost of the ticket.

Discounted Tickets

Student Rush Discounts

$10 Student Rush Tickets are generally available to all Classics concerts and to some Pops concerts on a space available basis. Purchasers must show a valid student ID, and only one ticket may be purchased per ID.

Student Rush Tickets go on sale the Monday before the weekend performances. They may be purchased in person at the WSO Box Office or at the walk-up windows before the concert. They may also be purchased online. Simply select your seat and then change the ticket price level from Adult to Student Rush. All student tickets will be held in Will Call, and a valid student ID must be shown in order to pick up the tickets. Seat change requests cannot be accommodated on the day of the concert.

Military Discounts

50% discounts for all Classics concerts, subject to availability, are offered to active military personnel with ID the week of a Classics concerts. Please call Box Office at (316) 267-7658 for more information. Discounts are not available on Pops concerts.

Senior Discounts

Beginning Monday of a Classics performance, senior citizens ages 65 and up, may receive on request a $5 discount for tickets in Sections A, B, and C; or $3 discounts for seats in Sections D and E. All seats are subject to availability, and discounts are not offered for Section F at Classics. Discounts, except by subscription, are not available for Pops concerts.

Children at the Symphony

Only children who are mature enough to sit quietly during a concert, without disturbing their neighbors, should attend Wichita Symphony Classics or Pops performances.  We recommend patrons with young children purchase seats near the aisle in case a restless child needs to be taken out of the concert hall during the performance. The Wichita Symphony reserves the right to ask any individuals who are disrupting fellow patrons or the concert setting to leave the hall.

For parents looking to introduce younger children to symphonic music, our Family Matinee Concerts are the perfect opportunity.  They are programs designed specifically with children in mind, each lasting about one hour. These concerts are recommended for ages three and up. 

All people, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend the Wichita Symphony.
