featuring the Wichita Symphony Chorus
Sunrise Mass, composed by Norwegian-American composer Ola Gjeilo, transcends the mind and soul. This piece evolves from transparent and spacey to earthy and warm, reflective of the developmental journey from child to adult. This piece was inspired by film composers of today while still honoring the past greats including Brahms, Britten, and Bach.
This concert will also feature the Wichita State University Choirs.
