What's interesting about these concerts?

One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for Mankind
The WSO celebrates the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with lunar imagery projected above the Orchestra, perfectly choreographed to Ravel’s sublime masterpiece.

Science and Music Combined
After bringing audiences to their feet for two performances of THE PLANETS in 2018, Dr. Jose Francisco Salgado returns with MOONRISE, another Science and Symphony film that seamlessly fuses science and music.

So. Many. Notes.
Between Bartok and Ravel, there are a lot of notes for the Orchestra to play on this concert. Both pieces require a larger-than-life orchestra full of players at the top of their game. The WSO is ready to wow you with this incredible music!

These performances are made possible in part by a generous gift from
