Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. before Classics concert weekends
Founders Room, Century II Concert Hall
How much do you know about Gershwin or Mendelssohn? Did you know Mahler’s Fourth Symphony was written as a child’s depiction of heaven? Or how about that Sibelius, Tchaikovsky and Nielsen composed just down the beach from one another? Find out all these things and more at Inside the Music with Daniel, a deeper glimpse into the lives and compositions of Classical masters on our programs with WSO Music Director and Conductor Daniel Hege.
Sessions are the Thursday before every concert weekend at 9:30 a.m. and last about one hour. They are located next to the Wichita Symphony box office in the Founder’s Room at Century II. Cost is $5. Coffee and baked goods served.
