The Wichita Symphony performs Orff’s epic Carmina Burana, a choral spectacular audiences will recognize from countless pop culture references within movies, tv commercials, even football games. Joining the Orchestra is the Wichita Symphony Orchestra Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Cecil J. Riney, the Wichita Community Children’s Chorus, Friend’s University Singing Quakers, and the Bethel College Concert Choir. The first half will feature Franz Joseph Haydn’s light hearted Symphony no. 90.
